Udaulo

(Cabachon--Pioendaula)

Udaulo SSF was bred by Scot Tolman, former director of the American Warmblood Breeding Association and owner of Shooting Star Farms. Black Bay Farm was given primary ownership of Udaulo by being selected through a nationwide application process. We agreed to import him from The Netherlands and show him. It has been a pleasure. He was born in 2001 by the Dutch Warmblood Stallion Cabochon out of Pioendaula .

We call him Skeletor because of his unusual facial coloring reminiscent of the cartoon character of the same name. Only recently under saddle, Skelly, with his exceptional conformation, gentle temperament, and fabulous moves, has won all of the in-hand tests he has competed in. At Fort Rucker in 2004 he scored 73 from judge Bill Woods (R), and at his next venue Klaus Fraesdorff (R) awarded him 83-the highest mark at any level. At the Southwind Dressage and Eventing Show in Tallahassee in June, 2006, he again scored highest in his division with a 74.8 mark. Judge Shelly Van Den Neste echoed our own thoughts when she pronounced him a "beautiful gray."
